My Story

  • I'm a gypsy at heart, a traveler, a gatherer of friends and experiences. My travels have lead me to New Zealand and Australia , a solo journey, a walkabout, hitch-hiking and trekking the mountains and seacoasts of these majestic countries. I learned from the people I met along the way, growing my trust in something higher and bigger than myself and following that guidance.
  • My travels lead me to Alaska where I lived in the back country, off the grid for over 2 years .The solitude, the northern lights, the long winters, the rough sea coast hardened my body and honed my mind. 10 years in Alaska I continued to trust...
  • The hardest chapter was yet to come, while living back in Connecticut near my family, my father would have a heart attack while I was in labor with my first child. After a 55 hour home birth turned  emergency C-Section, Nathan was born. It was 1995. My dad died 19 days later.
  • As sad and as difficult it was for me to say goodbye to my father who would never see my children, it was bittersweet to hold this precious little life. I was filled with joy and wonder and grief and pain. Nathan, my spirit-child, my angel , a giver of gifts, a gift from God, would then pass 4 months later.
  •  This was my fire-walk, my make or break defining moment that would change my life forever. I dove into the pain, embraced it and came out of the fire re-newed and feeling blessed. You see I learned from Nathan and from the Universe, God, The Creator of All that is, many things but the most lasting message was to live for today because you never know when your time is up.

Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.

We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
